We got to see the Top 12 on The Voice 2014 Season 6 finally take the stage last night on The Voice USA Season 6 for the live shows and we finally have a chance to vote for our favorites! Bria Kelly has been getting rave reviews from The Voice Season 6 coaches and has a lot of support out there, but did she live up to it with her Top 12 performance last night? Bria has gotten a lot of praise from the coaches this season, but her vocals seem to be screaming to me at times and bothers me. Bria wanted this song to show the more soulful side of her voice. She said she is changing it up to not just be a karaoke version. This song choice has been done so many times on these shows, so a safe choice in my opinion. She starts so strong for me and I am liking it, but then it comes to an end and she goes crazy with the notes and that screaming and she lost me, yet again!
Shakira said that she added grit and her true colors to the song. Adam Levine said that it took courage to sing an Adele song and said it was ”angsty” and different. Blake Shelton said that she added a great rock edge and held all the right notes. Usher said it was the first time she sang a contemporary song. He said Bria had heart, fire and passion in her voice.
