The Voice USA Season 6 continues to pit the best singers against each other to see who will be chosen as the winner of the live shows. Last night, the singers gave it their all for their coaches, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Usher, and Shakira. The artists showed they were ready to be professional performers-especially Kristen Merlin. The country singer on Team Shakira had her mic go out in the middle of her performance of the Sugarland song, ” Stay”. Kristen stayed calm and kept singing through to the end. Will her perseverance be enough to get her into the Top 10? Stay tuned and find out how America voted through calls, iTunes downloads, and tweets.

Team Adam started by singing the Peter Gabriel song, ”Sledgehammer” with Adam joining them. The first artists saved are soul singer Josh and rock singer Kat.
Saved: Josh Kaufman, (Team Usher), Kat Perkins ( Team Adam)
The next safe artists are announced. Country singers Kristen and Audra will be back next week.
Saved: Kristen Merlin ( Team Shakira), Audra McLaughlin ( Team Blake)
Now Shakira is performing ” Empire” from her new album. Is she lip-syncing? No matter, she’s still a great singer!
Soul singer Delvin and country singer Jake were the next artists saved.
Saved: Delvin Choice ( Team Adam), Jake Worthington ( Team Blake)
The bottom three singers will be revealed. Then viewers can vote and tweet to save their singer.
Now Blake is performing ” Put Some Drive in Your Country” with his teammates. It’s a great mix of old-school and modern country.

T.J. Wilkins, Dani Moz, and Tess Boyer, I’m sorry, my dears, but you’re up for elimination. Who will America tweet for in the Instant Save?
T.J. is singing ” I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain to save his place on The Voice. Adam said he was a fan of his and deserved to be on the show. Usher is tweeting viewers to save T.J.
Dani is singing ” Turning Tables” by Adele for her performance. Blake said Dani was brilliant. Shakira said it killed her to see her teammate singing for her life.
Tess is singing ” Dark Side” by Kelly Clarkson. Usher said she was incredible. Shakira said her teammate was one of the best singers and encouraged viewers to vote for her.
