Now a British band is performing. Rixton, a Maroon 5- sounding pop-rock group, is singing ” Me and My Broken Heart”. They’re OK, I guess.
Now Kat Perkins is being mentored by legendary 60’s rock singer Graham Nash. Why didn’t he perform?
Team Adam: Kat Perkins: ” Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac/ Stevie Nicks
The rock singer is singing the gentle 70’s ballad. Her powerful voice still cuts through the classic song. It’s about Stevie Nicks quitting her waitressing job for music. I thought it was about her dad or a break-up. Whatever it’s about, Kat cried at the emotion of the song.
The Coaches Thought: Blake said it was important for Kat to show emotion and she almost made him cry. Usher said it was pleasant and beautiful for her to sing with an acoustic guitar accompaniment. Shakira said it was a great performance. Adam said it was blissfully perfect for Kat to introduce that song to a new generation.
